I’m going to see Lady Gaga tonight in Atlanta and I could not be more excited – I’m a total fangirl Gaga, and I’m almost as excited to see what everyone else should wear as I am to see the show and listen to songs . Lady Gaga inspires creativity crazy fashion fans, and there’s little I love more than some good people-watching.
I do not think Betsey Johnson Hottie freak Velour Hobo quite cool enough to herself Gaga wearing, but it has all the elements of a possible addition to the dependence that can be worn on one’s appearance.
In the interest of full disclosure, I feel as though I must confess to you all that in preparation for the concert tonight, I bought a law glittery, silver, leopard-print tights to wear for the occasion. I am not ashamed of this in the least. If there was ever a place to wear this is when I go tonight.
My theory is the same bag – it’s just awesome enough to be kind of awesome, somehow, and it reflects two of the most important style elements Gaga Playground – giant arches and neon. And also has a fairly adequate level of ridiculous, but still affordable to many people, and find ways to translate that kind of uniqueness to the mass market is difficult. I do not think Betsey manages perfectly to succeed, but as always, I love her enthusiasm. Buy through Bloomingdale for $ 168.
